We're creating the next generation of Youth Leaders
Young Adult Youth Leaders, Inc. (Y.A.Y.L.) established in 2003, is a non-profit 501c3 certified community outreach agency with the goal of developing the next generation of Young Adult Youth Leaders.
As a vibrant community-based organization dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and personal development, we provide tutoring, life skills training, and enrichment programs that help students succeed academically and grow into confident, capable leaders.
Located in the heart of Orlando, YAYL partners with families, schools, and local organizations to create a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
Creating the next generation of Youth Leaders
At Young Adult Youth Leaders, Inc. (Y.A.Y.L.), we take a proactive and innovative approach to supporting at-risk youth. Our programs are designed to address the root causes of social and behavioral challenges by fostering leadership, accountability, and personal growth.
We focus on:
- Promoting positive behavior and decision-making
- Encouraging open communication and social engagement
- Organizing community volunteer opportunities
- Facilitating group events that build confidence and connection
- Implementing anti-bullying initiatives that promote empathy and respect
Through these efforts, we empower young people to overcome adversity, embrace leadership, and make lasting lifestyle changes. Our goal is to help youth build a foundation for a more productive future; one that strengthens families, schools, and communities.
Andra McCarty, Founder/CEO
Mrs. McCarty has led a 20 year old youth development organization which centers around at-risk youth, helping to guide them back on a productive path for success.
Since starting Young Adult Youth Leaders Inc (Y.A.Y.L) Mrs. McCarty has introduced an exciting new strategy to allow more youth to achieve positive outcomes in three priority areas: Citizenship, Good Character and Healthy Lifestyles all while encouraging Academic Success. To support (Y.A.Y.L.) fostering these vital outcomes, Mrs. McCarty emphasizes the importance of building organizational capacity, improving program quality and consistency while being a leading advocate for the youth.Every member of our board of directors is an experienced leader who has made significant contributions to our society.

Every year Y.A.Y.L. host our annual Summer Camp.
- June 8th - July 17th, 2026 (Closed July 3rd)
- Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm -(extended hours available)
- Multi-child discounts
- Weekly Low Rates
- Ages 5 - 14
Included Daily:
- 1 hour of tutoring (except Fridays)
- Life Skills Program
- Breakfast & snacks
- Weekly Field Trips
Included weekly if weather permits:
- Water trips or events

Here at Y.A.Y.L. we understand that it takes a community to build a community.
Ways you can get involved:
- Partner with us - YAYL is seeking financial partnerships and community sponsors to help us provide invaluable services to our community. We are a 501c3 certified non-profit organization and your donations could be 100 % tax deductible. Please contact us by email or phone (321) 276-7938.
- Volunteer with us - We are always looking for commited individuals with integrity and the unyeilding desire to serve. Please be aware that all volunteers will be strictly vetted and must pass an extensive background check.
- Donate - Although we are a community outreach agency, we serve a population who are at a financial disadvantage and cannot afford most of the services offered.
- Become a Member Participant - Aligning with our vision of creating the next generation of leaders, Y.A.Y.L. offers youth memberships. Becoming a member participant allows us to go beyond providing programs and services to the community. Our member participants receive additional benefits that encourage growth, comradeship, leadership, personal development and discounted programs and services.

Equipping Youth with Essential Life Skills
Welcome to Empowering Futures, a dynamic 6-month life skills program dedicated to nurturing the potential of underserved youth aged 5-15. Our mission is to arm participants with crucial life skills that pave the way for their success and well-being.
Program Highlights:
Empowering Futures combines interactive workshops, engaging activities, and community involvement to foster personal growth, resilience, and leadership. Our curriculum is designed to equip young minds with the tools they need to thrive in various aspects of life.
Key Objectives:
- Boost Emotional Intelligence: Enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.
- Improve Communication: Develop effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strengthen Decision-Making: Foster decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Promote Financial Literacy: Encourage responsible money management and financial literacy.
- Encourage Healthy Lifestyles: Support healthy lifestyle choices and mental well-being.

Work before Play
Y.A.Y.L's after school care provides the perfect balance of work and play. We offer a safe engaging learning and recreational environment for school age children.
Homewok has to be completed before participating in any recreational activities.
After School Care includes:
- Daily snacks
- Homework help
- 1 hour of tutoring or educational activities
- School Holiday closures
